On Tuesday, March 11, former Sussex Central Senior High School standout Aryanna Briddell’s current college team, the Shippensburg Raiders, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bowie State Bulldogs.
The game took place at BSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Robb Field against Frostburg State Bobcats.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
During the week beginning Monday, Sept. 8, these former Sussex County area high school athletes will be in action.
