On Thursday, March 20, former Cape Henlopen High School standout Jaylyn Slater’s current college team, the Delaware State Hornets, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Colgate Raiders.
The game took place at DSU Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Raiders this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at DSU Softball Field against Coppin State Eagles.
