In the fourth quarter of 2023, Delaware Veterans Home stood out as the third largest nursing home in Sussex County, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Data shows that the nursing center had a total of 144 beds available, 28 more than the average in Sussex County as of the fourth quarter of 2023. They aided an average of 60.5 residents during that period.

Delaware Veterans Home boasted an overall rating of 4 from the CMS, which is higher than the average of 3.6 recorded for nursing homes in Delaware.
