On Tuesday, March 4, former Cape Henlopen High School standout Jaylyn Slater’s current college team, the Delaware State Hornets, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Peter’s Peacocks.

The game took place at DSU Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Peacocks this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 2 p.m. at DSU Softball Field against Saint Peter’s Peacocks.
