On Monday, Feb. 17, former Sussex Central Senior High School standout Aryanna Briddell’s current college team, the Shippensburg Raiders, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Catawba Indians.
The game took place at Whitley Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Indians this season.
The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Robb Field against Slippery Rock The Rock.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
During the week beginning Monday, Sept. 8, these former Sussex County area high school athletes will be in action.
