On Friday, Feb. 28, former Sussex Central Senior High School standout Mya Jones’ current college team, the Bridgeport Purple Knights, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Davenport Panthers.

The game took place at USSSA Space Coast Complex. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Purple Knights’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Launch Pad Sports Complex against Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.
