On Monday, Feb. 24, former Cape Henlopen High School standout Reed Thompson’s current college team, the Goldey-Beacom Lightning, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Frostburg State Bobcats.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their second matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Lightning’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Cooper Park against Millersville Marauders.
