On Sunday, March 9, former Sussex Technical High School standout Laniya Lewis’ current college team, the Bryant Bulldogs, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Stetson Hatters.
The game took place at Patricia Wilson Field. This was their third matchup against the Hatters this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 4:30 p.m. at USF Softball Stadium against South Florida Bulls.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
During the week beginning Monday, Sept. 8, these former Sussex County area high school athletes will be in action.
