On Thursday, May 1, former Indian River High School standout Olivia Hitchens’ current college team, the Wilmington Wildcats, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Goldey-Beacom Lightning.

The game took place at Seaside Park Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Lightning this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at Seaside Park Softball Complex against Jefferson Rams.
