On Saturday, March 15, former Indian River High School standout Olivia Hitchens’ current college team, the Wilmington Wildcats, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bridgeport Purple Knights.

The game took place at Seaside Park Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Purple Knights this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 4:30 p.m. at Asbury Field against Goldey-Beacom Lightning.
