On Saturday, March 22, former Sussex Technical High School standout Laniya Lewis’ current college team, the Bryant Bulldogs, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Maine Black Bears.
The game took place at Conaty Park. This was their second matchup against the Black Bears this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 4 p.m. at Conaty Park against UMass Minutewomen.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
During the week beginning Monday, Sept. 8, these former Sussex County area high school athletes will be in action.
