Sussex Review

Comcast is beginning work in Bethany Beach that will bring the full suite of Comcast services, including fiber optic Wi-Fi, to the community. The estimated completion date for this work, contingent on weather, is late spring of 2022.

Crews will be working on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in the following locations:

• The intersection of Garfield Parkway from 802 Halfmoon Drive
• The 300-324 area of Wellington Parkway.

Underground fiber optic cabling will also continue along Candlelight Lane. The next locations for install in Bethany Beach to begin shortly will be the Turtle Walk community and east of Rt. 1 on Cedarwood, Ashwood, and Maplewood Streets. 

Comcast services will not be available to residents until the undergrounding of fiber optic cable is complete throughout the entire Town and the estimated completion date, contingent on weather, is late spring of 2022. Comcast will contact all homeowners prior to the completion of this project with subscription information on all their internet, phone, and television packages.
