On Saturday, March 22, former Sussex Central Senior High School standout Brenden Anderson’s current college team, the Shippensburg Raiders, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Bloomsburg Huskies.
The game took place at Fairchild Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Raiders’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 1 p.m. at Cooper Park against Millersville Marauders.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
During the week beginning Monday, Sept. 8, these former Sussex County area high school athletes will be in action.
