On Friday, Jan. 31, former Indian River High School standout Tyler Bowen’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Erskine Flying Fleet.
The game took place at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Flying Fleet this season.
The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 11:35 a.m. at Grier Field against Erskine Flying Fleet.
Dan Gaffney, a radio host of the Dan Gaffney Show, reported that Nikki Miller, the Republican candidate for the District 20 State House special election, was initially excluded from a list of nominated candidates on the Delaware elections website.
The special election for Delaware’s 20th District is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
The Delaware Republican Party has announced that Nikki Miller, a GOP candidate for Delaware’s State House District 20, participated in the 2025 School Board Election and referendums, while her opponent Alonna Berry did not.
