Town of Laurel issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have a lack of participant entries for the 2020 Christmas Parade, so we are moving forward with cancelling Laurel’s 2020 Christmas Parade. Along with the lack of participants and the unknown of COVID-19, we feel this is the right decision. This has not been an easy decision to make and we know people will be disappointment, however we be coming up with activities to engage the community during the holiday season. So, please keep checking back on our facebook page for our calendar of events/activities during the month of December.
