City of Rehoboth Beach issued the following announcement on Dec. 24.
The City of Rehoboth Beach is accepting proposals from interested parties for Streetscape Planning and Conceptual Design for the first two blocks (west of the Boardwalk) of Baltimore and Wilmington Avenues, First Street (between Baltimore and Wilmington Avenues), and Second Street (between Wilmington and Rehoboth Avenues) to improve commercial viability, safety, ambiance, and access by pedestrians and bicycles. Proposals are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on January 21, 2021. Submittal requirements and evaluation criteria are found in the full Request for Proposal. The City intends to evaluate all submitted proposals and develop a short-list of selected firms to conduct in-person or virtual interviews prior to making their ultimate selection.
