Fort Delaware Tours and Programs

Come out and visit the greatest Civil War site in Delaware! We have several programs going on daily, including artillery and musketry demonstrations, tours and interactive activities. You can also visit with our costumed interpreters, who can show you what we believe life was like in the 1860s. Fort Delaware is a great experience for visitors of all ages. Cost is $12 for adults, $7 for kids and $11 for seniors and military.

 Access to Pea Patch Island and Fort Delaware is by ferry only. The ticket office and ferry dock are located at 45 Clinton Street in Delaware City.

 On Saturdays, enjoy Hands-On Blacksmithing (11 AM) and Behind-the-Scenes Tours (1 PM). Visit destateparks.com/Programs for more information.

 NOTE: Open Saturdays and Sundays only from September 10 through September 25, 2022. Closed on Monday, July 4 and Monday, Sept 5, 2022.
