Lee Murphy for U.S. Congress has issued the following press release:

Delaware deserves representation in Congress that votes in the interest of the people of Delaware. That’s not happening right now, and it’s time for change. 

Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester has neglected the people of our state by voting with radical Nancy Pelosi 100 percent of the time. For every single vote, she chose party politics over people and California over Delaware. 

Liberal Speaker Nancy Pelosi votes in support of the radical politics of California, but at least she represents California. Lisa Blunt Rochester has no excuse. 

“It’s hard for me to believe that Delaware and California have the same needs 100 percent of the time,” Delaware resident Drew Sunderlin said. “She couldn’t find one issue to disagree with Pelosi on?” 

Lee Murphy is running to represent the people of Delaware, not vote with Nancy Pelosi.  

“Lisa Blunt Rochester’s voting record shows she opted to align with the radical policies of Nancy Pelosi and employ partisan politics over the people of her state,” Murphy said. “This should be insulting to every single Delawarean.” 

Murphy continued: “This is my home, and I will vote for measures that promote our safety, bolster our economy, and most importantly—I will represent you and your family in Washington.”
